Silver City Auto Repair

This place is such a rip off they will make you pay for towing, diagnostic testing, labor, parts and it will not be fixed. It took them a week to fix my car only for me to drive a few miles and it stalled. I was stranded with the same engine errors that I had taken it in the first time. I called them and they want to charge me all over again for the same testing, parts, labor for something that was never fixed the first time. Response to owner: Unfortunately it doesn't let me respond to your comment below so I will write it here. Yes, the records are under another name. I didn't confuse you with another shop. My car had issues with your shop even after you "purchased a new transmission" only for it not to work. It got to the point where I couldn't drive my car any longer and I lost trust in your garage to fix the issue.

We regularly purchase off road fuel from R & L and are always greeted warmly by Terry and Joanne. The facilities are clean, the prices fair and we are more than happy to support a business owned and operated by people we consider friends! How often do you leave the gas station with a smile on your face? We do every time!

I've had work done at R &L service center , and it has always been quality service. Mechanics are well trained and very conscious of doing a great job. I thank them for being in Silver City , its nice to know you can trust them. Tom Earlywine

Excellent service. Diagnostics were spot on! I traveled home to Deming and did the repairs myself. (They were about to close for the day...) The mass air sensor was kaput. It only cost a small fraction of the estimated cost at the shop, but I'm sure there they would have put in a genuine part and of course labor must be figured in. They did not talk down to this old woman, but respectfully listened to my concerns. If I lived in Silver City, I'm sure I would return for service without a doubt!

I've been coming to R&L for decades for diesel, gas and vehicle repairs. I've NEVER had anything but first rate service and treatment. These guys know their business well. I highly recommend R&L.
